This was a cool podcast, and I am very intrigued to learn of a missing, third DRM album. This is curious, as I was only thinking of how all the great 80's groups did 3 albums and disbanded, but DRM only did two! I stand corrected and hold out for the day Virgin release it. I worked for EMI back in the day, and was present when Virgin Australia moved from CBS distribution to EMI. The band you called the Dropbears (who were signed to WEA) was actually Beargarden, who were brilliant. I had left the music industry after their 3rd single was released, but later learned that the album came out on an indie label. I never found out why Virgin dropped them. The interviewer asked great questions, but tended to talk over the guest too much IMO. Hopefully we'll see interviews in the future for Beargarden, Pseudo Echo, and the Little Heroes.

You guys are the Oz version of The Clash!. I was working at 'The Patch" Coolangatta QLD in like 1988?ish and was in hospital for zn unrated incidenr. Anyways, I was aok, but only had my work clothes with me. knew you were in town, So I snuck out to come and see you., (before I was in hospital I was going to work, but they found a blood clot in my arm and kept me there) hence only my work clothes. I went to The Patch nd my boss was like 'wtf, you are Not working tonight... Im like be cool man, I'm just here to see the band... So, everything was coll... I was sitting by side the stage upfront... and Got your attention under your song 'gunna work';..(one of my Fav's) p.s.a year r two before, I brought a cheap ass tape recorder to another concert but unfortunatelty , its lost in history.. from 1987/8 p.s.s. your music Saved my life

I’m so fucking sad. I seen him a few times playing live he used to get even amongst the people in the crowd and sung fuck. I’m so sad.
